WE∙Shalom International Ltd. was established in Hong Kong in May 2015. ‘Shalom’ means ‘wholistic well-being’. The founder is a Xinjiang guru with 10+ years of rural community development experience in alleviating poverty. Year 2020 is her 20th year of stay in Hotan, Xinjiang, China. Echoing the national strategy, “One Belt, One Road”, we have established this social enterprise in order to enhance the wholistic development of the Xinjiang people. Moreover, promoting the good natural products of the Silk Road to consumers in Hong Kong and other regions can help both the producers and the customers enjoy wholistic health.

The company was successfully accepted as a “listed social enterprise” by Social Enterprise Business Centre under The Hong Kong Council of Social Service in the Fall 2019 and “Trade Partner” of Fair Trade Hong Kong in mid 2020.
